Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the business ethics of buying and selling transactions in the Riau Islands Traditional Market. Qualitative research methods are used to narrate information from various sources, such as: character information, library books, journal articles, and the main sources of Islamic teachings on business ethics. Upaya community in order to meet the needs of life, oneofthem is by selling basic needs in traditional markets. Traditional market traders try to implement the Qur'an and al-Hadith in their practice, for example honestly and not burdensome on the scales. This research is expected to contribute directly to the blessings of trade in traditional markets and to subsequent studies.
