Abstract
This article aims to study halal labeling on food products and its effect on the purchasing power of Muslim consumers inspired by the Qur'an Surah Abasa [80] verse 24. The method used in researching and writing this article is descriptive qualitative. Information is collected from several articles, journals, news, and books as well as simple observations from the implementation experience of science taught in lectures. The results of this study revealed that labeling of a food product can affect purchasing power for Muslim consumers.
