This research aims to understand the concept of human needs as capital for smart economic activities in the midst of the onslaught of advertisements that offer a hedonistic lifestyle and stimulate consumptive behavior

The method of data collection is by studying literature from various scientific article publications. The study concludes that the development of cyber technology in the era of materialistic capitalism has an impact on nourishing the hedonistic lifestyle that affects generation Z adolescent students, young millennial students and other members of society. The stimulation of the convenience of online shopping stimulates consumptive behavior and a hedonistic lifestyle which, if not controlled, can disrupt the priority scale of fulfilling the needs of life, whose neglect can plunge perpetrators into loans, non-criminal, immoral, judol, and even suicide. The phenomenon of weakness of Islamic shakhshiyyah, especially the generation of students, teenagers, gen z and the younger generation, millennial students and other members of society, requires enlightenment of the understanding of the Islamic Aqidah and various Islamic tsaqofah as well as an understanding of the responsibility of managing the self-needs of a Muslim, social responsibility in the life of the Islamic community and the picture of the guarantee of the fulfillment of the needs of individuals and the people by the state during the Islamic life period as exemplified by the Prophet Saw. and the khulafaurrasyidin. An understanding of the conception of human needs is expected to make a generation that has resistance to the stimuli of desires and is able to behave smartly in managing and fulfilling life guided by Islamic sharia guidance and aulawiyat.
